07.31.17 Anthony Scaramucci RESIGNS as White House Communications Director Comes less than a week after hiring
JULY 31, 2017 Washington, DC (ABC/WBEN) Anthony Scaramucci resigns as White House Communications Director.
This comes the same day John Kelly was sworn in as Chief of Staff. Sources tell ABC Scaramucci resigned, asking to be redeployed at the Export Import Bank as chief strategy officer.
Scaramucci had not been on the job less than a week. It may be most memorable for an expletive-laden conversation with a New Yorker reporter that disparaged other members of the Trump team.

Relax. Did you really expect Trumps first year to go smoothly?
************
Well, I did expect some first year growing pains. I do vividly recall Bill Clinton’s chaotic first year and things finally stabilizing after he hired Gergen as Chief of Staff. So yes, its expected — to a certain extent. But the media is having a field day with the increasing chaos and it will eventually show in declining poll numbers and decreasing confidence if Kelly cannot restore order soon.
I admit that I am finding it hard to relax in view of the incredibly difficult array of vexing domestic and international problems the country is facing. Now more than ever we need sober and decisive actions that can only be achieved through a leadership structure of the highest order. Nothing less will do if America is to succeed.
My thoughts exactly. Mooch was “a ringer”, wildcard if you will. Designed and intentioned for a one use only job. Rinsed Penis is gone.... Leaks stopped.... Coincidence. Not a chance. And yes I’m thrilled that DJT has surrounded himself with loyal generals.
Longtime lurker, first time poster, but feeling the need to chime in and reply on people calling this a “cluster” or “chaos.”
We are not used to seeing this much reorganization from a White House, especially this early on, because the majority of our elected leaders are only interested in kicking the can down the road. Go along to get along.
That is not President Trump. He’s a man of “change” (no pun intended) and action. He’s only interested in surrounding himself with people who can help him and his business (which is, in this case, the United States of America) and as soon as you show even a sliver of a chink in the armor, you’re history.
He’s running the government like he ran his businesses and I think that’s a GOOD thing. There’s no loyalty. There’s no pats on the back. There’s no buddy system. You’re hired to DO A JOB and the second you are unable to do that job to the best of your ability, you are useless to the Trump Administration.
I love it.
What does Jeb Bush have to do with this, or anything for that matter? He’s irrelevant and completely inconsequential to the discussion. Nothing more than a straw man argument. Let’s stick to the issue at hand, please.
“Well there is a contingent on here who things Trump walks on water. That he can do literally NO wrong.”
THAT’S ME - and many others. We were not NeverTrumpers, and never will be. We LOVE TRUMP precisely because he didn’t hire Howard Baker and those types from the Swamp...and when things don’t go great for Trump...we roll with it...and only wish others had some patience.
Good God, what a clusterf***.
Good point.
Scaramuccis estranged wife may be ready to air a load of dirty laundry on him.
Tapes, most likely.

If the plan was to remove a complete traitorous leaking scumbag like “Rancid” Priebus, I think it was highly successful.
Think of it as bringing in the designated hitter at the perfect time of the game.
And in this scenario, Grand slam...
Do you fire the plumber after he’s fixed the leaks?
Well, he did say he wasn’t going to receive a salary from the White House....I guess he really meant it.
He did not do very well in business.
His fortune basically rised with the stock market. Nothing more.
Which is the reason I am also in real estate.
I do not expect huge, quick returns... But, returns long term are largely guaranteed.
And, I just like owning stuff as well.
I get where you’re coming from. But one thing you need to consider is that constantly changing personnel is not conducive to a smooth running organization. Like anywhere else, people in the government depend on good working relationships and communications to get things done. When the players keep changing, it makes it a lot harder to do business. So too much turnover can be self-defeating, especially in the massively complex federal government.
I agree with you that youre hired to DO A JOB and the second you are unable to do that job to the best of your ability, you are useless to the Trump Administration. But, at the same time you want to hire wisely and minimize the number of people you have to fire. Eventually, the public will tire of the turnover and all the unproductive drama if its not stabilized soon.
I want Trump to succeed. And I want him to establish an atmosphere of leadership excellence as a model for other presidents to follow. I hope he delivers on that.
Is there anything positive going on in the White House?
Are regulations being removed?
Are Federal agencies being cut?
Are taxes being cut?
Is Obamacare being eliminated?
Is the military being strengthened?
Who recommended these characters for WH positions?
This chaos is seriously disturbing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He’s not real smart. Bit the hand that feeds him first thing. What a moron.
Maybe the wife was going to expose his skeletons.
Excuse me, I don’t understand. Mooch, messed up. The president didn’t. Now give Spicer the job.
“...Mooch, messed up. The president didnt. Now give Spicer the job...”
“Rancid” Priebus and Spicer were working hand in hand. Leakers.
Good riddance.
Swamp is DRAINING... have to clean your own house first.
I call BS on this article. It says that Trump welcomed Mooch’s brash talk.
Ivanka and Jared were pushing for the guy. So that tells me to keep the heck out of there.
