Imran Awan, a congressional aide arrested by the FBI after wiring $300,000 to Pakistan and misrepresenting the purpose, had previously wired money to the country and was frantically liquidating multiple real estate properties on the day he was arrested, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.
Imran's real estate properties provide a source of money that could be sent directly to Pakistan when two upcoming home sales close. Prosecutors have since filed paperwork saying they fear "the dissipation of the proceeds of the fraud and destruction of evidence in other locations."

Authorities released him with a GPS monitor and confiscated his passport.

Because asset forfeiture is only for us little folks.
“his eyes speak volumes”
Look up the YouTube video of Amwad sitting RIGHT BEHIND Trey Gowdy during House committee hearing involving Je(h)Johnson.
There was something shady going on with that, feedback on answers or something similar. And I thought that single row of seats behind the Representatives was for their staff, others sit in the auditorium seat behind the testisfier. What was the Wad in that seat?
it’s from last year but may be newly relevant!!!
Nifty.
"I have never heard of Enron Iran and neither has my husband!"
He is a DISGRACE!
Just as a matter of curiosity, what would you have Jeff Sessions do? Do you want him to go out and hold a press conference publicly detailing everything done or possibly go on every television show available and boast about what he is doing. Maybe he could violate all convention and convene a public grand jury and broadcast all derogatory testimony. If none of that would satisfy his critics, he could probably gather a posse and start rounding up and hanging all suspects. Forget about due process, rule of law, the constitution and all of those outdated concepts.
It is just possible that he has decided to act like a responsible Attorney General and manage the Justice Department, protect the rights of accused and conduct investigations in secrete as required by law. Being held in contempt for doing his job is not such a bad position to be in.
Good point. I wonder if it only applies to Americans and not muzzie scumbags.
Sounds about right.....
And please don't worry that it's been reported that the US atty in the District of Columbia that 'could be in charge of investigating this 'matter' is Debbie W-S's BROTHER!!!
THE STINCH OF THE SWAMP SEWER IS VERY, VERY DEEP!
Yes.
I’ll say this for them. They install an operative every place they can.
Not condoning it; just saying they never miss a beat.
How about Jeff Sessions growing some testicles and firing Deputy FBI Director McCabe for blatantly violating ethical and legal standards involving his wife accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Hillary campaign, and then directly influencing the decision not to prosecute her?
Would you like more examples?
Why are you defending a man who has demonstrated complete incompetence and contempt for his oath when he took the office? Because that is what Jeff session has done.
Thanks, but no more examples such as these needed. The one suggestion I would offer is to resist reacting to unsubstantiated reports from individuals with an axe to grind. The people who actually know what is going on can’t talk about it while the ones talking seldom actually know what is happening. No case has ever been tossed out because of misconduct by the accused but many have been lost because the prosecution has failed to dot every “i” and cross every “t”. Patience is hard but in some instances absolutely necessary.
I think this might indicate he was really brought over here by the Deep State.
But there are some facts you should consider.
I would offer is to resist reacting to unsubstantiated reports from individuals with an axe to grind.
Of the two examples I cited (Steve Wasserman from DOJ investigating his own sister, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz and the Pakistani spy ring), and the Deputy Director of the FBI McCabe, there are no sources with "axes to grind" who are spreading false rumors. Those two instances are true, and those alone are reasons to fire Sessions for not acting to correct those situations.
Next, all of the "be patient" rhetoric misses the crux of the battle. Not only is this a political fight that is close to bringing the nation to brink of a literal Civil War II, it has its roots in spiritual warfare, as Dinesh D'Souza recently pointed out. Ephesian 6:12 speaks to this supernatural war. Sessions says he is a Christian, yet he is sitting on the sidelines as his President, and his nation, is under assault.
That makes him part of the problem, and he must go.
The other problem with the "be patient" argument is that evidence is being destroyed, witnesses are disappearing, and the public is losing interest and/or faith in the process.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
And worse, President Trump himself was forced to call out Sessions' inaction because he himself knows nothing is progressing on this front. Sessions is not doing his job.
I now hold Sessions in contempt, as a contemptible man. A coward. I don't simply disagree with him anymore. But I find him to be a worm of man who by his own feeble inaction and fear is endangering the nation.
Since the FBI has already assured Hillary the Awan didn’t talk he will escape. Snuffed comes later most likely when he is back in Pakistan.
