President Trump on Monday blasted ObamaCare, saying the healthcare legislation is "hurting people" and questioning why Congress shouldn't be paying the same as the public.
"If ObamaCare is hurting people, & it is, why shouldn't it hurt the insurance companies & why should Congress not be paying what public pays?"
On Saturday, he similarly ratcheted up his pressure on lawmakers to pass a healthcare plan with a threat to end ObamaCare's subsidy payments to insurers and cancel some lawmakers' healthcare benefits.

The only way to defeat Obamacare is to prohibit members of Congress from opting out of it. Once Congress has to use Obamacare too, it will be repealed in record time.

It doesn’t matter if it stands up in court. If the demondog and unipartycans object they will lose the next election. Even rabid liberals would support this move.

How could Trump legally cancel the Obama rule that conferred this subsidy on Congress?
Super majority are multimillionaires so doubt they care. I think it’s odd that 535 people out of 320 million decides our health care. Most are clueless on how medicine and insurance work.
The Obamacare subsidy issue is now in “appeal” before a court. If Trump goes forward with the appeal, Obamacare subsidies to congress and the insurance companies will continue ... but he has the power to CANCEL the appeal. And if the appeal is cancelled, the subsidies to congress and insurance companies are summarily cancelled. This remedy is totally legal and amazingly simple. Remember Obama built this “house” with straw, not the bricks and mortar of legislation.

Well, because, Mr. Trump, you are currently allowing them not to.

I’m being told it was done via Executive Order which is now in “appeal” before a court and all Trump has to to do is pull the plug on the appeal. Once he does that - DO IT NOW!!! - Congress is outtaluck like everyone else and then watch how quickly they get rid of Obamacare.
