I agree. My US rep told us in a town hall that they get a $7,400 per year subsidy on their premium. He justified that by saying its no different than the average worker gets through their employer in the private sector. So these guys look at public service as a career. Their only real goal is to get reelected and build wealth just as though they worked at IBM. How can they possibly be looking out for us?
