Little Rock police have identified the victim in Friday's homicide as 31-year-old Carlo Marigliano.
According to the victim's family, Marigliano, was visiting Little Rock from Italy and spoke limited English and was traveling with an Italian tour group when he decided to break away and explore the city alone.
The victims family tells KATV they are flying in from Italy and the Italian Consulate is getting involved in the investigation.
Little Rock police are not releasing any suspect information.

"Civil Rights" porn, perhaps. Liberals elevate the Marxist SPLC and MLK to mythological status.
Guess all the hotels in East St. Louis were booked solid.
[mythological status]
I was thinking that, too. If he bought into the liberal’s and the liberal media’s spin, he might have thought he was safe. He might have found out that reality is often quite, quite different than liberal narratives. Too late, that is.
Horrible tragedy for the family. I hate that a tourist to our country is murdered like this.
She was a Penthouse playmate married to a much older, rich property developer. Bubba wasn't even Guv yet, but boy was he randy..! He could pick up where hubby wasn't....doing it.
She'd fly into Little Rock from a strip close to her big house and they'd DO IT like rabbits. Fun..!
Bubba ain't stupid..!
But then rumors started circulating about the pair and that threatened to de-rail Bill. What was great was suddenly bad. Bubba also worried he might be stuck in a blackmail angle.
But then? LUCKY news..!
Her house BURNED DOWN..!
Somehow the married couple didn't get out, died of smoke inhalation.
Lucky Bubba, right?!
How mysterious.
I talked, nearly every day, to some folks in Australia up near Brisbane. (online game in the late evenings)
You could tell they had been fed pretty much nothing but the liberal propaganda that oozes from the scummy MSM.
I once (verbally) gave them a list of U.S. cities to avoid - especially after dark, should they ever travel to here.
Yes, Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis, etc. - urban areas in those cities

Agree. And I would be very cautious being a tourist to this country. There are just places you don’t want to go. I believe that is true with most nations.
And in 50 years, the nearest Obama Boulevard. Some things will never change.
Um... let's put this into perspective. The murder rate average in the developed world is around 1 murder per 100,000 people per year. Some countries are safer (Japan is around 0.3), some are a bit more dangerous (Canada was at 1.7 in 2015), but 1 is a good guideline.
Little Rock has 198,000 people. To be in-line with the developed-world average, it should have no more than 2 murders per year. Instead, it's already up to #36. And it's not even August...
Just like the Memphis Police, the shootings I believe in Little Rock are under reported or not reported at all. My family was traveling through Little Rock when a car load of the race of professional victims shot at their car, one bullet missing my Mother and Sister. The Little Rock Police Department did all they could to not even pursue the case.

Always amazing coincidences; just like Obama.
But we mustn’t speak of John Ashe, Seth Rich....
>>Unclear as to whether the low murder rate is a result of small caliber or bad aim:
Why is this a case of either/or? Both/and seems likely.
Phoenix .25 ACP pistols and the like, AND bad aim.
“No suspect information at this time.”
Yeah, right. We all by now know what that means.
It won’t take 50 years.
While a hummus post, eventually some of these feral animals will hurt or murder the wrong person. Then the Scilians etc WILL retaliate. Viscously. It’s happened before, just been a while.
Missouri Synod or ELCA?
Humorous. Oh sheesh now hummus is going to become an add on to Hugh and Series. And it will be my fault. Sigh.
It’s a great tragedy and I’m sorry for it. Now, how many stories about an American getting killed in Italy are there? There are a few cases one hears from time to time.
My little town of about 10,000 had it’s first murder ever a couple of weeks ago. Police caught the guy pretty quickly.
Last year Little Rock had 42 homicides. 35 so far this year.
