There's nothing "imperial" when the "senators" would be replaced by the governors of the states which the senators were supposed to be working for in the first place.

There's nothing "imperial" when the "senators" would be replaced by the governors of the states which the senators were supposed to be working for in the first place. Getting the another branch of government out of the hands of professional spin doctors is definitely a worthy endeavor.
