Wouldn't talking to certain Senators in person work far better than tweets?

Where were you the other day when they voted? VP Pence talked to McCain several times, and many talked to other Republicans who voted with him! These are RINOS, not real Conservatives. So talking was tried on the floor, off the floor, and in Tweets, emails, and other ways!

If you can do better than other Senators, give them a call!
Pres DJT had ALL of them to lunch at WH and talked to them personally, just what else do you think he could do! I think he was more conscientious about that than any other President we have ever had. Some people are Jack Asses to th core, and talk means nothing. Soros paid them....their job was to obstruct President’s will!

Trump needs to run the house and he Senate too. They are desperately lacking the courage to take the country back and make it great again. Since that is not allowed can someone with some courage please step up and actually work with the President...

Dems are doing all they can to stop President, and we need to support him, not criticize! Tweeting is only way to tell public what he thinks, means, and will do. Media won’t tell truth/Fake News.

Repeal only. The people will replace. Leave us alone.

McConnell can’t even get 50 votes much less 51. Until then talk about the nuclear option is meaningless.

These people are not going to change the way they just voted. President Trump needs to take away the subsidies and healthcare compensation for congressional staffers and members of Congress. Then let ObamaCare fail in several states, and the GOP establishment and the Democrats will be forced to negotiate.

Well that would be true if the tweets were intended to directly sway Senators. They are not. Nobody around here thinks like you in that regard.

The tweets are for media and deplorables to pressure Senators. It’s a suggestion of what the message from us to them could be.

I truly believe that many, if not most, have been paid off, back to and including Boner. But not only that. Many are such lowlifes, surely the opposition has lots of dirt on each of them, and threatens to publish it back in the home district.

These tweets are getting old.
If the President called a Fox & Friends or Rush Limbaugh everyday and spoke what he tweeted it would look worse. He looks weak & frustrated.

Across state lines too? Now he brings up one piece of what the GOP “replace” was supposed to be all along—replacement with the rollback of more federal laws impeding the free market, so that healthcare ends up with a better, more free, market environment than we had before Obamacare was passed.

What’s more, coupling it with middle-class income tax cuts presents the only realistic way to get out of employer deductibility, which was a primary way that the market got so distorted.

Union guys who are used to tax deductible “cadillac” plans will only settle for losing that deductibility if they get an offsetting cut in income tax. And, of course, taking away that deductibility is a prime way that Congress can offset revenue loss from lower income tax rates. The result is a clear double win: better for using the free market to drive down the cost of healthcare and also a better incentive to get more people working, because of the lower income tax rates.

And, really, going to Congress with this sort of larger free-market vision was the only way to have wiggle room to negotiate down and still get significant reform.

That is just part of why having the WH take a hands off, let Congress design the legislation, approach is so toxic.

They don't have the votes! There are too many rats imitating republicans that it's impossible to get such a bill passed. Besides, the GOPe don't want to pass such a bill passed anyway.

Someone made a good point yesterday that even if McCain, Collins and Murkowski voted for it they would have found 3 other Senators to vote against it. So it's a mote point.

MILLIONS of us call, write, fax....all placed in the circular file moments after.

What DOES appear to work is getting them on their vote(s). Unfort. ‘leadership’ allows voice-only and other tricks of the chamber to ensure pinning ‘em down NEVER happens.

But, in this instance, we all have 6+ yrs of track-record calls to abolish and 6+ mo of obfuscation/denials/excuses. Going to do be hell running away from it in ‘18.

Course, the (R) are content in the minority...

No every time Trump calls them out on Twitter it alerts voters. Private conversations are not known and even on FR sometimes interpreted as Trump doing nothing. MAGA.

Repeal and ... just repeal. Do it right. Anything less than a clean full repeal with no replace should go down in flames. I shall speak alone, I suspect, when I say thanks to John McCain for getting something right for the Republic , for once. There is no piecemeal deconstruction of this thing. Cutting a little here will simply turn it into the perenniel campaign subject to the eclipse of everything else. It will be tweaked and retweaked every session from her on if it is not slain fatally dead in one act. Just repeal it and watch the Medical profession and “industry” revive. Perhaps it will incentivize further repeals until the government is out of the Medical business and the Insurance business and medicine is the best and the cheapest in the world with the most widespread access.

Good tweet by Trump, but he has to follow through during the election cycle.

What in the world makes you think that he hasn’t?
