To: Alas Babylon!

Could not agree more that McCain deserved no vote. I was able to vote for the Libertarian that year— Bob whatshisname.

It was so clear to me that Palin was such a willing dupe for this ruthless POS that it was comedy gold and a dead letter to expect my vote for that ticket. He buried her political career and orchestrated making her out as a caricature of ignorance.

McCain was such an obvious danger on the hill long before he put together that stupid ticket of his and engaged his all-Leftist campaign staffers. Insanity from the beginning.

Palin a willing dupe? A dupe, yes, but I don’t think she was willing. I think that McCain wanted to be the nominee, but did not want the presidency. He knows that it comes with a lot of responsibilit, something that he has never accepted. I agree that McCain did ruin Palin’s political career.
