Survival Saturday is a round-up of the week’s news and resources for folks who are interested in being prepared.

This Week’s Episode…

Washington, DC. That place of pomp and dignity, where all of the important things having to do with our nation’s interests are undertaken with the utmost respect for the people who entrusted our elected officials with these sacred duties.

Oh. Wait.

Washington, DC is a cross between a soap opera, a WWF match, and a reality TV show now. It’s a production complete with melodrama, music, miraculous surgeries, villains, and glitz. It’s a show that has run its course.

On this week's episode...

•A guy with a brain tumor was the swing vote on the most controversial bill in ages.

•The new director of White House communications could cuss the paint right off the walls.

•A rock star and a WWF wrestler turned movie star want to audition for next season run for office

•The bumbling evil villain just stepped up his game, big time.

The ‘drama’ is for the benefit of intellectually shallow members of the press. It's ‘cover’ for substantial changes being make to regulations, laws, and culture.
