An excellent summary for those who have not been following George Webb’s great work on the Awan Brothers spy ring. He actually visited each of the properties they own and is the one who discovered the smashed hard drives and blackberries at the rental house in Lorton VA which are now in FBI hands.

The Watergate breakin wa in 1972, so I’m going to say this is the biggest story in the past 45 years. And once the full involvement of DWS is revealed, it will damage the Democrat party for years to come, although it’s unlikely she will see the inside of a jail cell as she deserves, because the swamp protects it’s own.

“why were they paid so highly?”

One of the Pakistani brothers was 20 years old and was being paid more than 140k a year for an IT job that usually paid 40k.

"This is the biggest story of the past 20 years, and the media is stonewalling......."

We don't know how big it is yet, but we do know that a similar scandal involving Republicans would be treated as a huge story. But the day after the story broke (after the Dallas arrest), I counted 180 stories on the NBC news web site, and this story was NOT one of them.

Actually, it would have, because Webb and his researchers started investigating the Awans after learning of them through the Wikileaks release, which is why he titles all of his YouTube reports starting with “Day XXX” - that’s the number of days since Wikileaks. Here’s todays (Day 281) first update:

The Wray nomination is on the Senate Executive Calendar, Item Number 178, Message PN696.

McConnell promised a vote before August recess. That means Monday, as they didn’t do it this past week.

"Because their primary job was partisan spying, not fixing broken computers and maintaining the router."

That seems possible, bordering on probable. Another angle is that the brothers were possibly diverting sensitive information to hostile foreign governments and/or The Muslim Brotherhood, with or without the knowledge of their Democratic employers.

Next stop won’t be jail, it will be the loony bin.

That's what happened in the Enron case. The mastermind behind the shell companies was the CFO Andrew Fastow. (He even named some of those companies after family members.)

He and his wife claimed they were addicted to prescription drugs, I think valium or ativan, and they each got a couple of years in a rehab facility. Skilling, who didn't even work at the company any more got 30 years in prison.

It pays to be 'connected' to Texas judges.

“It turns out they were accessing members’ computers without their knowledge...”

Given how many House members’ computers these Pakistani IT guys had access to, it is plausible that a few House members were oblivious as to how much these guys were being (over)paid, which would have tipped them off as to what they were up to. After all, all of the House members EXCEPT for DWS fired these IT guys after the investigation began months ago. The FBI should work to find one or two honest House members who should be ticked off that their info was accessed by spies.

I’m not challenging you; just trying to understand your point. Do you think it is not possible that at least a few of the House members had no idea these IT guys were bad news?

Andrew McCarthy: Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the Pakistani IT Scammers

There is something fishing going on in the State of Denmark.

The Ultra Left Leaning Democratic party is very quiet right now! Which means they are up their old habits!

Even the "Biggest Dawg" Bill Clinton could not get elected as dog catcher anymore!

If blackmail then why were the rest let go? After all if he could get his 20 yr old brother on various payrolls to the tune of $160,000 a year via blackmail then why were they let go? Wasserman- Schultz’s statement was she kept him on because she was worried the noise was about Islamphobia. If thats the case why wouldn’t it apply to the rest of them? Blackmail may be involved but theres something more going on that separates one from the others.

McCarthy covers more important matters, but I’m intrigued by the DWS laptop stashed in the house office building.

Was it so these guys still could have access to house networks after they lost theirs? If so, it had to be for some nefarious purpose. Or was it to manage illegal campaign contributions from the money already sent overseas?

Remember in ‘08 when the Obama campaign turned off the credit card CCV code for contributions. That code could be used to show that cardholder lived overseas.

The Rats applied pressure to get them their TS clearances. It is very hard to explain. The Rats were either stupid or up to something. Probably both.
Giving people with questionable backgrounds a TS clearance and unsuperzed administrator authority of your IT system is just crazy.

Look at the congress reps they were working for,Muslim sympathizers.
This is a dynamite story,no wonder the media is silent on it,probably waiting for the principles to disappear before they touch it so they can deep six it.
Gets mentioned in passing on Fox and friends this morning no questions, how about the guy Awan gets stopped at the airport has 12 grand in cash,it’s said bank fraud is the reason. That’s it end of story but no mention that the wife is stopped at the airport months ago with 12,400 in cash is allowed to get on the plane and take off.
This is one hell of a story that everyone seems terrified of touching,WHY?

Under normal situations NSA and CIA involvement would require a bunch of people to debate and know about it. Under Obama, though, all it would take is a secret directive - secret because it is for “national security”, of course. Or the CIA and NSA could do stuff without asking anybody, as they did with Dennis Montgomery and “The Hammer”.

But DWS started up with these crooks from the very outset of her House career; at that point she didn’t necessarily have the clout to go to the POTUS and ask for a presidential directive (again, secret because it is for “national security”) allowing Pakistani crooks to give US intel to the Muslim Brotherhood. (And yes, I truly do believe that those are the kinds of things Obama would do under the name of “national security”; whatever name is given to dem operations is ALWAYS the exact opposite of what is truly being done) - and while they are at it, to spy on Congressional communications (which “The Hammer” was actually already doing, IIRC).

I think what DWS did is for the reasons you said. If she had been higher up - say, at the John Brennan level - she would have just done the criminal activity at huge taxpayer expense without asking or telling anybody except the one tasked with the job, who would be chosen because their reputation could be impeached so they would be called “non-credible” if they decided to whistleblow (same reason David Petraeus was chosen for CIA during the Benghazi time period BECAUSE Obama knew about his indiscretions; that info made him blackmail-able).

These vermin are sick, sick, sick, and their Modus Operandi need to be exposed so people can see them for the sick puppies they are. AND so we can put checks and balances in place so this will never happen again. No more signed blank checks and total secrecy for anything the crooks want to CALL “national security”. And the presidential directives that have been kept secret under that excuse need to be made front page news. TODAY.

To explain what I’m talking about, Sharyl Attkisson had a n eyewitness source tell her that presidential directives can order crimes to be committed, with the promise that the perpetrators of those crimes will have “cover story indemnity”. It is all secret so nobody will ever know what really happened, and anybody asking for FOIA responses, for instances, will get lies instead, which of course will make them seem like “moonbats” if they question those responses.

The fact that Obama does NOT have a HI birth certificate - as exposed by Alvin Onaka’s refusal to certify 3 letters of verification so that Loretta Fuddy had to unlawfully use her own seal instead in order to obstruct justice and commit election fraud on Obama’s behalf - tells us that not only was Obama not qualified to be POTUS but that he used the entire government apparatus to keep an unconstitutional usurper in power, which is an act of treason. This is PROOF that he is an enemy of the US Constitution, and the presidential directives that he cited as “national security” directives MUST be publicly exposed if the US Constitution is to be protected.

How did they not get background checks? If they did how did they pass? Was Comey doing the back ground checks? Loretta Lynch?
Says he was hired 13 years ago,That was during Bush’s term
