Trump tried to make amends with GOP establishment with Priebus and his reward, leaks and they approved Obamacares continuation. Trump is an independent president and the GOP and democrats are going to fight him tooth and nail for status quo.

The appointment of Priebus as COS was pitched to President Trump as the way into the hearts of the GOPe.
Along with that appointment came Sean Spicer and yes, James Comey.
