These athletes as well as most of the other students at these “Universities “ would be better off taking basket weaving classes rather than the so-called Academic courses. At least then they would learn a transferable skill.

Most Universities these days are diploma mills that destroy the work ethic in those who attend, teach them selfish values and then print out diplomas that tell employers that if they hire these spoiled uneducated brats, they are hiring a worthless SJW who will sue their company for discrimination as soon as a supervisor tells them they actually have to do something to earn their paycheck.

The whole system is engaged in”academic fraud”.

I agree. One solution would be to treat the athletes as employees, not students, pay them a salary, and not require that they attend classes. Any athlete who wanted to also be an actual student would have to meet the same entrance requirements as any other student.
