I recall him saying that and didn't like it but its a far cry from promising to fight for them to stay in the military.

I was annoyed, too! But he certainly made up for that remark. I think Trump sometimes says something “nice” when he really doesn’t mean it, lol.

I also think he looked at the financial cost. He’s a numbers guy and his eyebrows must have shot up when he saw the cost of these ridiculous, cruel and unnatural procedures.
