Noooo! This is the only diet drink that tastes like the real thing.
Don’t drink soda. Diet or sugared.
The best is Coca-Cola imported from Mexico.
One of the few great things to come over the border (and legally, to boot).
“It is a reinvention of Coke Zero,”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like when they reinvented Coke with New Coke.
Okay. Is this the repeat of Old Coke/New Coke fiasco?
Old Coke Zero Vs New Coke Zero Sugar?..............
New New New Coke
whhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyy???????????????
Still has aspartame in it which causes cancer.
Ingredients: Water, Colour (Caramel E150d), Phosphoric Acid, Sweeteners (Aspartame, Acesulfame K), Natural Flavourings Including Caffeine, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate). Contains a Source of Phenylalanine
Nooooo!!!!! This is the only soda I drink (the RARE times I actually do....)
So they take a product that is growing in market share, cannibalizing Diet Coke (No one call tell me Zero isn’t better.) and they’re going to kill it and keep the inferior product losing market share.....
Okay then, stupid Coke does stupid again.
ALL soda is bad, especially “diet” with neurotoxins like Aspertame or sucralose. PLEASE stop, people.
Two words: New Coke
What about Diet Coke with Splenda?
Re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
Pepsi’s stock price has left Coke’s in the dust for years.
I know a fellow who works for kookie cola. Word is that Coke Zero is checmially identical to Diet Coke, and the name and packaging is simply marketing to make it appealing to a more masculine audience.
It’s worked so far.
I haven’t spoken to this fellow in a while, but...
My suspicion is that the C-C marketing people have looked at the success of the other companies products that are similarly marketed to a more masculine audience with the “10 calorie” small amount of sugar added. They wish to duplicate this, thinking that it will be a more successful formula for them. Whatever.
By the way - don’t stock up on diet sodas - the Aspartame eventually decays into Formaldehyde (it does this in your body, too), and after several weeks in storage, even in a cool location, it will taste very nasty.
Anyway, I think this is just a stupid move on their part. If they mess it up, I can always get a Dr. Pepper instead.
The real thing I’m curious about is why none of the companies have realized the marketing possibilities of doing 11 calories instead of 10 for their sodas.
Imagine: Mountain Dew 11 - This one goes to 11!!!!!
(hehe)
That sounds like a government non explanation.
Arrogant bastards... "New Coke" repeat debacle?
I’m a Diet Pepsi man. But, Coke Zero became an acceptable alternative while I was travelling through Europe in 2010. It was everywhere.
I always thought Coke Zero had a slight citrus taste. Either way, it kicks ass over Diet Coke; which is a can-shaped mess of carbonation.
The race to Zero!
What a great slogan! /s
