I suppose it could be that the door had been opened, but some officers were still outside. I imagine the cops outside would be disappointed at being left out of the fun of shooting their guns in action, so they had to resort to shooting through the door.

Perhaps someone can explain why a law abiding citizen is NOT allowed to answer his door armed, at any time, let alone at midnight with someone banging on your door.
And maybe you could also explain why, in a nation protected by the constitution, why police are allowed to shoot anyone who is deemed to have a gun? Are our rights to be armed not guaranteed by the constitution?
We are now in a terrible time, where if a person is thought to be armed, police are allowed to shoot them on the spot. How are we to exercise our second amendment rights when police are allowed to shoot on sight anyone exercising those rights?
There’s absolutely no excuse for getting a wrong address on a warrant.
Bunch of men? I thought they were the police. If you hold a gun on the police and refuse to drop it the police will probably shoot you.
It is posts like that that make me drink another cup of coffee, and then when I read it again, it is clear that no amount of coffee will make it make sense.

BTW, check out the video at HeyJackass! titled "Shoot His Ass". It shows cops actually getting it right.
They shot through the door. Their story is completely made up.
The wife’s story of the events is more believable.
