It was, as one Twitter pundit put it, a very good day for cancer.
It was a good day for death, a good day for shameless cruelty, for the worst tendencies of the human animal; it's a good day to have that sickening, sour feeling in your stomach turn to abject disgust at your fellow man Republicans very much in particular as the Senate GOP, with coward John McCains help, shoved through a motion that will allow them to continue to destroy lives, take away the health care of millions and leave countless thousands to die.

While true, whether it’s sleight of hand or not, having access to “gold plans” not available to anyone but them and their staffs, they are not subject to the same rules under Obamacare as the rest of us. Ergo, they’re not exempted, per se, they just have special rules and get gold plans from the same companies that contribute to their campaigns.
It’s kinda like insider trading; the rules that apply to us don’t apply to them.
Who suggested that veterans deserve better care than anyone else? I will say that I think veterans deserve the very best care our nation can offer, which is absolutely not the case.
The truth is, veterans - particularly indigent veterans - get worse care, if any, than most Americans. Veterans die every day waiting for an appointment with the VA.
Then call it what it is.....dishonest. Elitist. Whatever. But they weren’t exempted.
