The National Security Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation violated specific civil liberty protections during the Obama years by improperly searching and disseminating raw intelligence on Americans or failing to promptly delete unauthorized intercepts, according to newly declassified memos that provide some of the richest detail to date on the spy agencies ability to obey their own rules.
The memos reviewed by The Hill were publicly released on July 11 through Freedom of Information Act litigation by the American Civil Liberties Union.

Clapper and Brennan need some serious investigating into.
Who was in charge of the FBI and NSA? Arrest them immediately.
I mean, who saw *THIS* coming?! *spit*
Thanks, (R). Here’s another gift from the party of ‘small-govt’. I’m sure the committees to find ‘answers’ is right around the corner.
>Never mind a little thing called the Fourth Amendment.
Hell, they can’t even FIND A1S8, what’s a ‘little’ violation of the 4th?
Doesn’t help Sessions piles on w/ his ‘drug’ pet-program/asset forfeiture.
Technology and it’s effect on society has made the 4th Amendment a dead letter. Unless you live in a shack in the woods like Ted Kaczynski, just by living in modern society you accumulate data about you that is kept in private silos but still searchable and accessible to anyone, including the government.
Think about how many times you appear on a video camera during the day. And from business and other private records, it can be determined the books you read, the movies and shows you watch, the websites you visit, the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the car you drive, and the places you go.
Your life is an open book to those who wish to read it.
So we need to find ways to restrict the flow and retention of information.
You will have an easier time restricting the flow of mosquitoes from your neighbors’ yard into your yard.
I want Sessions to put Brenner on trial for these abuses of power. I think it is felonies. I may be wrong about Brenner heading up the NSA. He may have been CIA. It may have been Clapper at NSA.
