Feds arrest IT staffer for Wasserman Schultz trying to leave country

A House IT staffer at the center of a congressional computer equipment scandal has been arrested by federal officials and charged with bank fraud, Fox News has learned.

Fox News is told officers and agents from the U.S. Capitol Police, the FBI and Customs and Border Protection were involved in the arrest of Imran Awan at Dulles International Airport.

Awan, 37, of Virginia, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to one count of bank fraud during his arraignment in federal court in Washington, D.C. He was released but will have to wear a GPS monitor and abide by a curfew.

Awan also was ordered to turn over all his passports. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 21.

Law enforcements authorities for months have been looking into how Awan may have double-billed the House for equipment like computers, iPads, monitors, keyboards and routers. Several relatives of Awan worked for House Democrats and were fired months ago. Awan, however, was kept on staff by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., even though he was no longer allowed access to the House server network.

Wasserman Schultz, though, has now fired Awan. Spokesman David Damron said Tuesday in a statement.

The Keystone Cops seem pretty polished and professional compared to this bunch.

They’re sloppy housekeepers, too... I cleaned foreign-student dorms [actually apartments] one year and you could always tell which ones had been occupied by Pakistanis - it was striking, as the Middle Eastern ones weren’t bad and neither were those of Indian students.
I could picture the horror of a Japanese student waking in the middle of the night to an advancing horde of bugs coming through an air duct vent from a neighboring apartment. *Shiver.*
I filled a 5 gallon bucket halfway up with dead roaches in a few Paki apartments, in others just a quart or two.
The Pakis’d keep cooking on the stove without wiping the grease off, some stoves had a layer of grease more than a quarter inch thick, must have melted and oozed off some whenever a burner was on. It’s a wonder the apartment complexes never burned down.

Witnesses around DWS have a short lifespan. Better watch his back and stay away from beaches.

One suspects that if awan flips, it would be devastating for the Dems. Might he be safer in the clink?

The other Awans, maybe. DWS, HC —I don’t think so— they will double down. Hubris.

It is exactly what Trump does, provides cover and misdirection while getting things done.

I’ve also figured out that he has reinvigorated the Russian collusion foolishness when he felt that it was beginning fade. He is leading the press and the DemoDummies around like ponies on a longue line.

Aha. I wonder how Rod Rosenstein fits into all this. If I recall correctly he was already in the DOJ before Mueller was replaced by Comey.

A muzzy. Why did Dws hire a muzzy?

Because she is politically correct.

The Muzzies oppose American greatness. The American Left oppose American greatness.

It's no surprise that they should make common cause.

Well, OK. Faggots tossed off rooftops. But let's not get lost in the details!

The DAG is actually the guy who directly supervises investigations and prosecutions, as per the DOJ web site.

Here’s a background piece on Rosenstein from the Leftist The Atlantic:

Well worth reading.

L/E is looking into how Imran Awan may have illegally double-billed the US House of Representatives for tech equipment like computers, iPads, monitors, keyboards and routers. He billed the US govt for these purchases and pocketed tax dollars. Several Awan relatives and co-conspirators, fired months ago, worked for House Democrats on key intel committees. Awan, however, was kept on-staff by Cong Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla, billed as her "advisor" even though he was no longer allowed access to the House server network.

ACTION NOW--Taxpayers demand Cong Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Democrat-Fla) be placed under house arrest immediately. Taxpayers demand to know the extent of her role in endangering the safety and security of Americans.....and.... Cong Schultz's role in an international conspiracy to overthrow the US govt, apparently well-financed w/ our tax dollars.

“One suspects that if awan flips”

He’s on house arrest. He’ll be gone by Friday. I bet the feds didn’t even confiscate computers and backups.

One more thing....wonder if DWS did a spit take with her beverage when she found out he was arrested? What do you think the first thing she did when she heard the news? Called her lawyer?

Transferred more stolen taxpayer cash to some small island bank in the Caymans?

Would loved to have seen the look on her face when she found out.

Democrat House Intel Committee member Adam Schiff told ABC News Sunday: “Indeed, it would be negligent for us not to investigate the Russian connection......if a foreign government…has something that they can hang over the head of our president that can influence U.S. policy, it is very much in our national security interest to know it.”

Memo to Cong Schiff: While you were busy trying to debunk Trump, you turned a blind eye to your low-level office help....spies working in your Congressional offices.....accessing US govt computers containing intelligence that involves the safety and security of Americans.

The Pakistani Awan gang worked exclusively for Democrats. The gang had access to numerous intel agencies centering on Americans’ safety and security.

Cong Schiff, your House Intelligence Committee oversees all or part of the following executive branch departments and agencies:

• Office of the Director of National Intelligence

• Central Intelligence Agency

• Defense Intelligence Agency

• Department of Defense

• Department of Energy

• Department of Homeland Security

• Department of Justice

• Department of State

• Department of Treasury

• Drug Enforcement Administration

• Federal Bureau of Investigation

• National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

• National Reconnaissance Office

• National Security Agency

• Office of Naval Intelligence

• Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency

• United States Army Intelligence and Security Command

• United States Coast Guard Intelligence

• Marine Corps Intelligence Activity

The Paki spies back-doored Congressional computers to siphon classified security intel....they then absconded, getting viasas from the State Dept to while under criminal investigation.

Martha Raddatz of ABC News was completely unprofessional for not asking you about the Capitol Hill breach.
