EXCERPT

He stressed the importance of the Senate, issuing what appeared to be a warning to President Donald Trump.

"We are not the president's subordinates. We are his equal," McCain said of the legislative branch.

McCain also spoke at length about the at-times acrimonious relations within the Senate and urged his colleagues to work across the aisle.

"Our deliberations can still be important and useful, but I think we can all agree that they haven't been overburdened by greatness lately," he said.

"Stop listening to the bombastic loudmouths on the radio and television and the internet. To hell with them!" he said in a line that was met by applause.

"What have we to lose by trying to work together to find those solutions?" he asked.

BTW, where in the Constitution dose it say that a citizen of the United States must pay a corporation, under legal mandate?

I just KNEW that “across the aisle” would show up.

Did he also remind us that Soetoro is “a good Christian and a good family man”?

McCain pushed the IRS against conservatives with Levin.
Not satisfied -- he went to Libya.

I have absolutely no use for him or his butt buddy Linda Grahamnesty. Supreme examples of term limit abuse.

So , then, why did he run for president? To get an equal job as the one he already has?

Instead of lashing back at sissy-boy Obambi when he insulted the GOP with his “I won, I won, you didn’t, nyah, nyah.” he kissed Obambi’s butt for 8 friggin years,=. Worthless . . . using sympathy to get accolades . . .

McCain thinks his smelly ego is more important than the future of this country. What a self-absorbed jackass.

but as individuals, the President is over Senators and Representatives...

I guess it depends on your definition of ‘over.’ At work, my boss was over me and I served at his pleasure. As individuals, the president can neither hire nor fire a legislator. But if enough legislators get together they can ‘fire’ the president.

Additionally, all the members of the Cabinet have to be approved by the Senate. How many legislative staffers does the president get to vet? None.

Twenty years ago I could see that McCain was not a mentally and emotionally stable person. There’s something deeply wrong with him.

One wonders if the Roman Senate ever embarrassed themselves the way these jackasses do on a daily basis. The U. S. Senate? Spit.

“work across the aisle”

Can’t work with our president. Has to insult him. But still a big fan of working with baby-killing, perversion-promoting Democrats.

“To hell with them!”

Bold words from someone who, by all appearances, will soon be answering to God for his choices in life.

This is a man who think politeness is more important than stopping the killing of babies. He loves to reach across the aisle to work with them but just can’t stomach listening to us loudmouths. He wants us to die and go to hell.

Well, I’ll wait to see if his contribution on this healthcare issue earns him any respect. Him showing up is not enough for me.

The President wishes McCain well. I wish him well but Senator McCain has a recurring problem of being opposed to Presdient Trump and supporting the interests of big corporations who make military weapons and foreign governments.

His support of Al-Qaeda jihadists backed by the Saudis and Gulf Arabs helped to create the Islamic State.
