There are some mistakes that can't be fixed, especially in government. I overheard at dinner a couple nights ago a couple discussing the massive protests planned WHEN Trump fires Mueller. That is the planned trigger that will end Trump. There will be no way this Congress will stick by him and he will be gone. It won't matter that there was never any Russia anything, but as usual the actions after the fact that will have brought him down.

The best path for Trump is to continue fighting and ride this out. That is the formula for maximum pain inflicted on the enemy. There is no sense in Trump blowing himself up, which is what firing Mueller in any form would be. Besides, Mueller might yet discredit himself in the process.

Nonsense. Are you crazy? The Trump Presidency will already effectively be over with Mueller hiring 100% partisan Democrat lawyers, expanding the investigation arbitrarily, and dripping out leaks for the next 3-1/2 years. It's basically taxpayer-funded opposition research. FOREVER. MAGA will never happen under such circumstances.

With the People behind the President—and they are—he can fire Mueller, and then maybe a truly fair Special Counsel can be named, if necessary.

The notion that Mueller—who has obvious conflicts of interest, such as his best friend Comey being a target of the investigation—is in anyway legitimate is ludicrous.

Let the Swamp howl. That's all they do. Removing a President is a political act, and if they want civil war in the country, let them try to pull a stunt like that with no legitimate reason. Firing Mueller, given his conflicts of interest, is not a legitimate reason for impeachment, and if there's anybody in the GOP who thinks otherwise, they're signing their own death warrant.

It's about time for the GOP Congress to have its President's back—like the Democrats always do with theirs.

President Trump (I think it was him) just tweeted about all these disloyal GOP cowards a day or so ago.

Whatever the speculation might be here in this community with all of us mushrooms, I'm actually supremely confident that President Trump sees things clearly and will do the right thing and lead. Those who don't have the stomach for that had better take some Tums...
