He figures he’ll ride it out and with any luck, this Mueller witch hunt will wrap up soon and that’ll be that. It won’t play out that way but that’s his only hope.

And then what? The President has zero confidence in Sessions. He slams him on almost a daily basis. Even if this Mueller thing blows over how can Sessions even think that the President would ever value his service ever again?

Look, I’m inclined to think Sessions should resign, but it just sucks that the media would claim another scalp over this fabrication. And, I’m worried Trump won’t get the replacement that he wants.
