Study: 8,471 Cases of Double Voting Uncovered in 21 States

As the debate over President Donald Trump’s voter fraud commission intensifies, a new study has found 8,471 instances of double voting during the 2016 elections occurring in 21 states.

The nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI), which was cofounded by Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer and former Breitbart Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon, analyzed data from 21 U.S. states and found that 7,271 ballots were cast in more than one state by individuals with the identical first and last name, middle initial, birthdate, and partial Social Security number. Another 1,200 double votes meeting the same criteria were detected within the same state. Given the high methodological bar employed, GAI says the statistical “probability of correctly matching two records with the same name, birthdate, and Social Security number is close to 100 percent.”

The 37-page study is unique in that while most past voter fraud analyses have used statistical models to project fraud rates, the GAI report identified actual matches of real votes cast using public voter information rolls. “There are currently no government agencies or private entities that compare all state voter rolls to detect duplicate voting fraud,” states the report.

Maybe nationalizing the elections is not the way to go. Maybe requiring states to verify citizenship and eligibility
>

Unfort., does nothing re: cross-State voters (students, snow birds, etc.).

Course, that doesn’t mean the State can’t enforce better standards: chain of command for all steps (no ‘lost’ or ‘found’ ballots), no ‘early voting’, no ‘same day voting’, no counting/reporting of totals until ALL precincts are received, purging of voter roles every 2-4yrs., etc.

How ‘bout a law with some TEETH in it? Voting fraud is 10yrs in the slammer for EACH offense, no ‘good time, early release’.

Sure they’d still maintain in the urban areas, as they do now, but a lot of that support would lessen, thus, lessen their ability to push their agenda.

Democrats, along with their propaganda machine (the MSM), always use the voting numbers to "prove" they have a mandate!

With the fraud removed, I bet they would have a much harder time selling their "mandate"! And, how would they explain that before the enforcement of voting laws, Democrats were outpacing Republicans 3, 4, even 8 to one in the big cities, but then AFTER strict enforcement of voting laws, Democrats drop to a minuscule lead?!?!

From my stand point, this is just MORE WINNING!!

These out of state out of town kids will never feel the effects of raising our local taxes when they graduate, as they move out to another city for employment.

That's why the local DemonRats encourage these useful idiots to vote in local elections! They are easily sold on the "others have all the money" and all the other emotionally charged BS that Liberals love to sell!!

What I did not see in the report is if this was just a sample of data, or if they had the entire voter datasets for the states in question.

There was big time cheating and fraud this past election and it needs to stop right now!!!

I get upset with any party that does the cheating and fraud. It seems like the Rat party is the one doing the cheating and fraud nowdays!!!

We still remember how Lyndon Baines Johnson got his seat because of big time cheating and fraud in the great state of Texas!!!

BTW, the Rat party is in really bad shape right now except I think nobody has told them yet.

But the right of all of them to ever vote again should be revoked.

Couldn't agree more...you get caught cheating; you LOSE your right to vote...forever.

Tip of the million voter-fraud iceberg. The big question is, which party did the fraudulent voters support??

I think the search criteria was laid out pretty clearly.

1. Equivalence of first, middle initial, and last names
2. Equivalence of birthdays
3. Equivalence of partial SS#

Those not counted would include:

1. If someone used a nickname for their first name, it was probably not counted.
2. If someone omitted their middle initial, it was probably not counted.
3. Non-citizens were not included.
4. Deceased citizens were not included.
5. Phony individuals (dogs, cats, etc)

etc., etc.

This is the tip of the iceberg. It states later on in the article that if these results were projected to all 50 states with only this search criteria, the number would be 45,000 double votes.

There was an article last fall (Search votefraud, voterfraud keywords and you can probably find it) indicating that almost all ended up in the D category. I know, you’re shocked, right?

Yes, I was dripping with sarcasm. Vote fraud is part of the DNC and has been since Al Capone.

Everything President Trump is doing is exactly what needs to be done to return this government “of the people, by the people and for the people” back to the people yet no one in the Republican party is helping or supporting him in any way.

It’s an absolute outrage.

Well stated. That said “ Go Donald”. You are the bravest of the brave to expose these cronies for what they are. Just interested in themselves...

National Voter ID NOW!

No way. Leave it to the federal government to screw up anything they put their hands on other than the very few constitutionally mandated functions, of which they screw up quite a few of those, too.

Elections SHOULD be left to the states. And repeal the 17th Amendment.

How exactly are we going to get RAT-run states to 1) participate in cross-checking of voter registration with other states, 2) assure citizenship, and 3) assure identity for elections when they have ZERO vested interest in assuring an accurate electorate in their state?

My question was not concerning the criteria investigated for a "match". The question is, did they have the entire voter database for the states in question, or was it a "sample" of the data. If it was a sample, then you take the number found and can extrapolate it to how many might have been found if you looked at all of it. Of course, like all sampling there are issues with that as well, but it brings sharper focus as to what the number that was reported actually means. As already stated up-thread, it won't identify illegals or the dead that vote from the grave.

I think 8,471 federal prosecutions resulting in jail time would go a long way toward discouraging this sort of thing.
