"NYT principals deserve the harshest punishment given to enemies of the state." You mean they have to spend the rest of their lives doing $500K speaking gigs at Goldman Sachs?

I suspect they are engaging in brinksmanship to try to provoke action by the government which the MSM can falsely portray as the oppression of a fascist regime. They want an excuse to get rioters in the streets fighting fake “fascism”.

I have to wonder how upset the folks at the CIA really are over this. I mean, the NY Times is their favorite outlet for leaks undermining Republicans.

Isnt it against the law to publish names of covert agents, regardless of reason? The Pentagon Papers case proved anybody can publish anything that hurts Republicans and it's legal. Heck, it's glorified.

The Slimes sure did not have a problem with what Obama and Hillry did in Libya.... and Hillry’s comments on her successful kills... in their weapons running operation to kill more.

There isn't anything covert about a CIA operative whose identity is known to the New York Times.
The failure here is entirely on the part of the CIA for operating in such a way as to allow their most important secrets to leak to the press.
I would much prefer to read about such CIA failures in the newspaper than to continue the charade that our intelligence agencies are doing their jobs responsibly.

Treason by the Constitution.
Despicable. Unconscionable. Actionable.
The end for the Times.

At least they are admitting guilt. No need for a trial. Just shoot the entire Management of the NYT.

Where does it say that Americans have the right to know who is running a covert operation? Why would his not being “in the field” make any difference?

“We believe that the American public has a right to know
who is making life-or-death decisions their behalf.”
Every Soldier and Marine who has ever drawn a bead on
any of our enemies makes a life-or-death decision on
behalf of the American public. Should we publish their
names in real time, too?
