1) Open primaries - many Ds voted for him in the primary 2) Too many ran against him and no one to really rally around. He only got 56% in the last primary, so there is a good chance he goes get primaried, especially with comments like that. I moved here after he got elected last time so looking forward to voting against him the primary in 2020.

Hopefully, next Primary the Trump team will get in there and it will be clear who to rally behind and get the job done.

I highly doubt these Democrats are voting for him in November. That’s all on the SC GOP voters.
