Pete Hegseth on Tuesday (May 23) confronted Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges after she delivered her "state of the city" address in a mosque.
Hodges, who previously called President Trump “uniquely pernicious,” chose the mosque as the location because she believes the city's Muslim community is under attack from the Trump administration.
The speech came just a day after the deadly terror attack in Manchester, England, which left 22 dead and scores more injured.
"Cities like Minneapolis and the people who live in them are squarely in Donald Trump’s sights," Hodges said during her address. "His agendas of oppression, regression, and suppression have no place in Minneapolis, and we are standing firm in our resistance to it."
Hegseth said Hodges tried to avoid answering his questions, so he tracked her down after the speech and confronted her.
"Why a mosque?" Hegseth asked of her choice of venue. "And would you do it in a church?"

From that press conference about her police commissioner it appears that she, and maybe the entire city government, is about to be overthrown.
News from two months ago. But this week, wasn’t it a Muslim (Somali) cop that shot the Australian woman who was reporting a possible crime? For a reason yet unknown, but it got the Police chief removed and the usual left-wing anarchist crowd asking for the mayor’s scalp too.
This is the same despicable ‘RAT mayor who brought Mohamed Noor and other Somali Islamists into the city’s police force. And now a lovely woman is dead at the hand of one of her Islamist Somali cops.

I remember my grandfather speaking at the table about their frequent trips abroad. He had thousands of slides he would show. They refused to go to any country with an Islamic rule. He explained “anywhere you encounter Islam you will have nothing but trouble”. I was like eight years old at the time.

The political correctness and affirmative action that allowed the hiring of this unqualified, unstable man resulted in the this instance in the death of this young woman. While it is appropriate to focus on the loss of this individual, it should be remembered that political correctness and the resulting policies and programs are not just killing individuals but are corroding, undermining and ultimately destroying a once great American culture.

These Somali folks are just the latest wave of immigrants. The others were trouble too. I recall stories of my grandparents being the subject of numerous police raids as new immigrants to Minneapolis.

I guess fatboy never experienced what I have for a long time, namely when I walked down certain streets, a group of black kids would fill the sidewalk and force me into the street or onto the grass.
