Mueller was brought on board to much fanfare about his sterling reputation and competence. If the hype can be shown to be hype, it could make his replacement more feasible with a prosecutor who does not have things like the anthrax investigation and the Luna case in his or her background.
Does anyone believe that justice was served in the Anthrax case, the Martha Stewart prosecution, the Luna case? Was justice served or is I’m-bigger-than-you-and-have-unlimited-resources the message that came across?
