Non-citizens commit a felony when they register to vote.
If a non-citizen actually votes it just increases the number of felonies committed.

So my wife is a felon because she got a drivers license? She has to notify our county clerk every time she renews it that she is not a citizen and needs to be dropped from the voter list.

I became a US citizen in Kansas over 40 years ago. I registered R in 1979. Ronald Reagan was the first president I voted for in the 1980 general election.
The thought of voting in the American elections never entered my mind when I was a legal resident and Green Card holder.
