Exactly!
Works for me!
So, did Sheriff Clarke change political parties?
He must have. He’s said he’s always been a Demonrat and that’s the only way he could win in the past. Maybe the times are a’changing in Wisconsin. Hope he wins......;)
Me, too. He seems to be a good man.
The good Sheriff is a Democrat, so I’m guessing if elected, he’d be a Democrat Senator.
Should have been FBI director. Instead we are getting Comey II.
I will do what I can to help him get elected.
The country should be so lucky as to have a democrat like him. Beats the hell out of just about any of the faux republican senators. He was a democrat of convenience and not conviction because of Milwaukee county which is a democrat shithole.
He’s not afraid to speak his mind. He won’t wuss out like alot of the Re-public-cans we have there now. He may just teach those panty-waisted cowards how to grow a pair....:)
I knew he ran as a Democrat-in-name-only (just as in many parts of the country people desiring political office due to get elected - maybe less so today.)
In fact, that was what much of the Sourh politicians were: Dixiecrats and many became Republicans just prior to and especially after he was elected, the candidacy of my beloved President Ronald Reagan, who had been an early Democrat but stated "the party left me."
A few in the South, perhaps, but many were diehard Democrats (I grew up here, so I know) and died as such. I’ll give one example I mentioned the other day. Former Alabama Governor John Patterson (who served from 1959-63). He ran as the Klan candidate in 1958 and defeated George Wallace (Wallace was NOT a segregationist in that race). He got close to the Kennedys. 50 years later in 2008, ex-Gov. Patterson endorsed Obama for President.
As you can see, some were just fine with the Democrat party of yore as they are with it today.
“...The good Sheriff is a Democrat, so Im guessing if elected, hed be a Democrat Senator...”
Good point.
Well he would being running for the GOP nomination, the other republican announced dropping out “Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch” for family reasons.
So I guess Sheriff David Clarke plans on leaving the Democrat party? We will have to see about that.

(Excerpt from the above link...)
... At the DeploraBall inauguration gala, Sheriff Clarke said: “I am one of those bare-knuckle fighters. When I hear people say we need to reach across the aisle and work with the Democrats, you know what I say? The only reason Ill be reaching across the aisle is to grab one of them by the throat.
Does your Senator talk like that? Does he urge black voters to leave the Democrat plantation? Does he or she say, Im tired of this race card thing?...
Sounds great! In fact, if he (Clarke) stayed a democrat and his
GOP opponent was a RINO, I’d “cross the aisle” and for the second time in my voting life, vote for a democrat (and I’m a former GOP county officer!)
David Clark would be great in the senate. He would make liberals’ head explode.
Im interested in being the sheriff of Milwaukee County, period, he told McKenna.
State Sen. Leah Vukmir (R-Brookfield), businessman Eric Hovde and businessman Kevin Nicholson are considering running against Baldwin next year.
Crap, well maybe in the near future.
Are those 3 CONSERVATIVES??
