I'm not sure throwing Sessions under the bus is a good idea. In fact, I think it's a bad idea. The base likes him. Trump should wait at least until the midterms. I understand why Session recused himself even though it was a mistake - he saw how Flynn got kicked to the curb and probably thought he was next.

I hear ya. Sessions was my Senator for many years. Never met him but seem to know how he ticks. I said at the beginning that Sessions would not be a pitbull for Trump and would be a cautious rules-based straight arrow as he has always been. I never thought he was the best fit for AG. Trump should have put him somewhere else. Sessions is a good man but if Trump is not happy with him he should fire him and move on. Trump acts so impotent on things like this. He is the POTUS.
