That is what I thought. Boat squadrons are part of special warfare command, but not the same as SEALS, That is what I have been told by sailors.

In the Navy a sailor that crews and maintains the small boats dispatched from large ships is called a Coxswain (Cox’n).
They did a great job getting us back to the carrier anchored a mile or so from port when we had Cinderella liberty in the Med., (especially during rough weather).

Boat crews do go through BUDS.
