Executives inside Deutsche Bank, Donald Trumps personal bankers, are expecting that the bank will soon be receiving subpoenas or other requests for information from Robert Mueller, the special counsel who is investigating possible collusion between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign.
A person close to the matter who spoke to the Guardian on the condition of anonymity said Muellers team and the bank had already established informal contact in connection to the federal investigation.

One of Mueller’s hand-picked Clinton crony lawyers running the investigation.
Search, search, search until you find something, anything which can be publicly construed as misconduct.
That’s how our progressive-left Deep State attacks you.
I like Sessions very much, BUT, we should NOT even be at this point.
Just think, if he’d stayed in the Senate, we’d have one more good guy fighting for Trump.
Ung.
It is outrageous to have a tax-payer funded “fishing expedition” with no other purpose than to de-stabilize our government.
Trump, fire this mendacious a-hole now, and schedule a few extra rallies just so your political enemies can be reminded of where the real power in D.C. now lies.
What the hell is Meuller using for Probable Cause to see POTUS banking records?
All the Constitutional Authority of the DOJ (part of the executive) and the US Congress COMBINED is not sufficient to issue a legal warrant for the banking records of the President of the United States.
At least not one that would withstand review in the Federal Courts if challenged.
And Trump would be clearly suicidal if he does not challenge this under Executive Privilege doctrine.
Even IF Mueller can present “Probable Cause”.
Deutche bank was already under investigation for moneylaundering well before Trump announced.
I’ll say it again. Trump has filed taxes for decades. They have been audited privately and by the IRS audit division. If they had found anything untoward, we’d have heard about it years ago. So either the DOJ is calling the FBI a bunch of incompetent poopies, or they are wasting tax payer money going down the same road already traveled.
And if the DOJ is embarking on a fishing expedition, well, about 10% of American real estate is purchased by foreigners. And it was just fine until the Repubicans came into office and the dems needed a reason to paralyze a republican administration and congress. If Congress is so afraid of foreign investments in America, they should pass a law preventing it. But they might want to explain to all the Russian immigrants why they are making them feel so unwelcome based on the color of their skin and country of origin.
I USED to like Sessions.
Can’t stand him now.
s/b So either the DOJ is calling the IRS...
This is past the point of getting old.
President Trump needs to shitcan Sessions, Mueller, mccabe, and ALL of the top brass at DOJ and FBI.
All of them. A total purge of the socialist-democrat obama saboteurs. If a few good ones get caught up in it, oh well.
This goes for the courts, DOD, and all of the other ABC agencies out there.
This should have occured on DAY ONE.
And who gives a f*** what the socialist-democrats and their wailing MSM lackey propagandists think.
This is 2017. Just like obama and his pitbull bitch valljar,
“We won, it’s our turn, and paybacks are a bitch”.
What goes around, comes around.
Well guess what? WE won. Now it’s our turn to purge the ranks of socialist-democrats and their RINO eunuchs.
If this seditious lover of Comey and his two-bit three-ring circus aren’t shut down now, we as a nation will lose not only a president, but the “office” of the presidency itself will have been irrevocably damaged. We’ll end up with an executive branch that’s nothing but window dressing.
Donald Trump MUST direct ALL the power extant within that office toward repelling and disbanding this coup, at whatever peril it may bring to him or his agenda.
Or else that presidential power will be forever silenced by the actions of this cabal of lawyers.
Checks and balances will go out the window.
It’s not just about Trump the man.
It’s about separation of powers and the Constitution.
This coup cannot be allowed to succeed.
That post reminds me of one of Mia T’s old graphics.
Unless they are fed feet first into chipper shredders.
How is this Sessions' fault? First, Sessions recused himself after consulting with DOJ's ethics department. Sessions was unaware of the fact that the FBI had been conducting an investigation of the Trump campaign since July 2016.
Sessions did not order a special prosecutor. Rosenstein did based on Comey's leaks after he was fired by Trump. This was followed by the DJT Jr. disclosure of a meeting with a Russian lawyer and the release of an email chain that indicated that the Russian government was involved. Sessions may have done the same thing as Rosenstein based on these developments.
Using Sessions as the scapegoat is disturbing on so many levels. He has been a loyal Trump supporter whose early endorsement provided a major boost to the Trump campaign. In addition, the move of Steven Miller from the Sessions senate office staff to the Trump campaign was a major development. Miller authored the position papers on immigration and trade for the Trump campaign. He has authored many of Trump's speeches on the campaign trail and now as President.
Sessions is a man of great integrity. I consider Sessions to be Trump's best and most important appointment. Let's hope he stays, but I have my doubts. Sessions says he will stay as appropriate--for now. He may be forcing Trump's hand to fire him. If Trump fires Sessions, you will see a significant drop in support for Trump. I have been a very vocal supporter of Trump from the very beginning. I contributed to his campaign and worked on his primary here in SC. If he fires Sessions, I will still support him, but my level of commitment and enthusiasm will drop considerably.
It reminds me of...
...Bananas!
