Statin drugs attack the bones, and so any benefit is lost in side effects. I won’t take them, and tell others to use diet as a way to control cholesterol. There are natural spices and ways to eat that will help more than statins.

The epidemic of diabetes lies more in diet than heredity, although we learn from growing up with family foods and eating habits. After 35+ years of saying how dangerous Dr. Atkins diet wad, and low fat the solution, CARDIOLOGIST, those with success, now say that low fat destroys the heart. I agree.

Ever notice how EVERYTHING has sugar in it! How to you stop diabetes if all processed foods have sugar in them? Poor people do not have option of always buying fresh, and expensive foods not tainted with sugar. There are other ways to preserve food without sugar!

Also, we need to have doctors in med school learn the basics on parasites, pets, and children. Because without getting those cleanses regularly once or twice a year, there will be diseases and physical issues, that are complicated by more pills without addressing the root cause!

Don’t fall for the “poor people can’t buy fresh” BS. Raw vegetables, eggs, milk and cheap meat cuts are less expensive than almost any processed foods.

“Poor people do not have option of always buying fresh”

Yes, they do. If they can buy packaged foods they can buy fresh foods. Poor choices like buying packaged foods is why they are poor.
