In Illinois, the governor tries to sell the vacant seat for the best deal he can find, winds up being impeached and thrown in the slammer for 14 years after his conviction on corruption charges.

Isn't it interesting how different states deal with the same problems?

This type of "statecraft" is my primary objection to the Repeal the 17th Movement.
