Killer policeman Mohamed Noor has said he was 'startled' by his victim Justine Damond seconds before he opened fire. The cop has told friends about why he gunned down the bride-to-be, 40, in his first account of what happened Saturday night. DailyMail.com has spoken to those friends to reveal for the first time his account of what happened that night.

Whether right or left handed, it is not an easy task to unholster a sidearm when sitting in a vehicle, with seat belt presumably attached. I've trained for that.

And had he "reacted to a noise" by trying to draw his service weapon, his partner would have all the time in the world to say, "What the hell are you doing?" especially since it's been reported that Noor was being evaluated due to questionable behavior on duty in the past.

And they gave this Barney Fife (aka Mr Chicken) a gun ? I assume this police dept. required some type of psychological evaluation before arming him and setting him on the populace, right ?

Even in the first few weeks of Army basic training they pass recruits thru a live fire obstacle course to address fight-or-flight or startle response problems. Some recruits failed (usually fatally to them). Too bad this scaredy cat killer couldn't have been weeded out before he murdered this woman because he was startled while holding a gun. The officer driver is the lucky one, if he can still hear.

Especially when wearing a retention holster like most cops prefer, like a SERPA holster. Thus the questions arise: Why was the gun unholstered? Why the finger on the trigger? If this wasn't intentional then it was criminally negligent.
