I called 911 for a suspicious truck driving around the block about 2 am awhile back and told them I thought they may have been stealing materials at a house under construction across the road.
The cops came quickly but the truck was gone. I wanted to go talk to the cops so I called 911 again and asked the dispatcher to tell them where I lived and that I was coming outside. They pulled up in front of the house and I went out and didn’t get shot. No way I would have just gone out in the dark under the circumstances.
Everytime I called the cops I walked to their car to talk to them. I greet them with a “hate to call ya out for this stupid stuff but....”(most times its a parking complaint). here, if there is nobody to speak to the cops are slow in coming.
