Boston has launched a new public service campaign to fight Islamophobia by offering the public ways to address aggression toward others because of their appearance or beliefs.
The campaign launched Monday involves 50 posters that provide a step-by-step guide to handling when someone is being harassed. They will be posted on bus stop benches and other public places around the city.
Titled "What to do if you are witnessing Islamophobic harassment," the posters encourage people to engage with the person who is being targeted and to draw attention away from the harasser. The technique is called "non-complementary behavior," and is intended to disempower an aggressive person by countering their expectations.

Where is the campaign to combat Christophobia, which is much more prevalent than islamophobia?
Every time there is a terrorist attack in the US, the first thing liberals are always worried about, is to make sure the feelings of the Muslims are not hurt.
What about asking about the personal life of the great prophet Mo, like how many wives did he have, how old was his favorite wife when he began to have sex with her, how many members of the Jewish tribe did he kill after they were kind to him,etc, etc.?
I would love to stand at the finish line at next year’s Marathon with one of those posters on a sign.

This is really an issue In Boston? I mean like there is no real crime going on? The streets are otherwise safe and clean and everything is unicorns and puppy dogs?

According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports: Hate Crime Statistics, 2014, there were 1,140 victims of anti-religious hate crimes in the U.S. in 2014. “Of the 1,140 victims of anti-religious hate crimes: 56.8 percent [56.8%] were victims of crimes motivated by their offenders’ anti-Jewish bias.” That amounts to approximately 647.52 instances where Jewish individuals, businesses or institutions were targeted.
A mere “16.1 percent [16.1%] were victims of anti-Islamic (Muslim) bias,” amounting to approximately 183.54 instances where Muslim individuals, businesses or institutions were targeted.
I predict within 24 hours, some mean ole’ alt-Righty is gonna make up a bunch of parody posters and slap over the top of these.
