‘Homicide’ only means it wasn’t an accident. JUSTIFIED killings are ruled ‘homicide’ too.

Homicide: death of a human being. Later it will be either capital murder, 1st degree murder, 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide, accidental homicide, suicide, justifiable homicide, etc.

I think he had his booger hooks on the bang switch and will be charged with negligent homicide IMHO.
