The Mayor has a right to demand to know why the cameras were turned off and the people have a right to demand to know why she insisted that the department hire thugs like this all in the name of diversity and inclusion. I guess the Aussie woman was not included in the diversity and inclusion. And I notice not a single media outlet is using race to describe this murder when they use it every time a white officer kills a black person. No wonder people hate the media.
I would not be surprised if the cameras were NOT turned off but the pro-diversity powers that be simply destroyed the evidence because of the thought of hearing the recording of “Allahu achbar! bang! bang! bang!” might ruin their plans to further destroy policing in America.

They weren’t turned ON.

At least as far as anyone has reported. They don’t drive around in their patrol cars with the cameras ON. They turn them ON depending on the circumstances.
