Your sales tax in Oregon is Zero but your state income tax is high and you are broke as well with well over 95% of your state budget going to entitlements. No matter how you cut it, unless the rural areas have “better” representation, the highly populated cities will control the politics.
You are absolutely right, but my total taxes are less than in CA.
And my 2A rights are respected in OR, which is not the case in CA.
