Waqf: We have lost control over the Temple Mount
Arutz Sheva ^ | 16/7/17 | Dalit Halevi

Posted on 07/16/2017 1:52:00 AM PDT by Eleutheria5

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem announced yesterday, July 15, that it had lost its definitive control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In its announcement, it said that the entire Al-Aqsa Mosque compound was a Muslim right only and all actions taken by Israel were a blatant violation of this right.

The announcement by the Waqf Department came after the Israeli decision to close the Temple Mount in the wake of the shooting attack on Friday, during which two Border Policemen were murdered.

The Waqf Department demanded that the Al-Aqsa Mosque be opened immediately and that Muslims be permitted to hold religious worship there without any restrictions.

It accused Israel of "breaking into" the Al-Aqsa Mosque without the presence of Waqf members, calling the Israeli action "aggression..."

point of reference..... Jews eschew hogs same as Muslims

I may be wrong but I believe that the Jews do not eat pork but I don’t think that Jews take the exclusion of pork to the extreme that the Muzzys do to where they are unclean if they touch a pig.

I believe you are correct, but pig offal on such a holy site would not be acceptable.

#15: "Salami, ham and bacon!"

Reminds me of the greetings in the old Three Stooges and Popeyes set in Muslimland: Salami! Salami! Boloney!

As the waqf was given access to the site with profuse promises that they would protect all religious access for all faiths to the temple mount, this once again proves that the waqf has violated their covenant that grants them control.

As the waqf actually blocked access for fifty years, how about we stop pretending the actually have any legimaticy?

Face it, if your Muslim or MSM, you lie, it’s what you do.

Watched a special the other day where there are quite a few who now think that the Temple was never at the site where the Mosque is.
The Rock under that thing is not a threshing floor where the Temple was built. That rock may very well be the place where Jesus stood before Pilate.
The Mosque is on the site of a Roman fort which was never destroyed when the Romans destroyed the Temple and the rest of the city.
At least that is what many now believe.

When I read stories like this I’m often reminded of something written by the once conservative George Will.

“History is not kind to those who repeatedly attack their neighbors. . . and lose.”

That Rock may also be the resting place
Of The Ark,
And where Abraham ‘Sacrificed’ Isaac.

IIRC

Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, not holy, site sacred site, spiritual site, COMPOUND! WHAT DOES THIS SAY?

That the Kennedys own it? /s

It accused Israel of "breaking into" the Al-Aqsa Mosque without the presence of Waqf members, calling the Israeli action "aggression..."<<<

Leave it to the WAQF to blame murder victims. Same mindset that blames and then stones rape victims.

Is the civilized (living) world tired of it yet? It won't be alive much longer if it insists on tolerating this out-of-control death cult.

Funny how many manys believe that essential elements of Jewish history never happened. Holocaust, slavery in Egypt, the location of the Temple...

It’s not an archaeological find. It’s been the center of Jewish hopes and prayers for thousands of years. The rock is referenced in Talmud and Zohar. The second intifada was started after the Waqf illegally took two-thousand-year-old Jewish artifacts from the Temple Mount and threw it in the city dump. Ariel Sharon then visited the Temple Mount with his full entourage, to assert Jewish sovereignty over the site, and after Fatah begged Hamas long enough, they started an intifada on the pretext of Sharon’s exhibition. The wall and the Temple Mount has been the center for pilgrimages since the Temple was destroyed. With all due respect to your special, I’m sure it’s very...fashionable.

There is absolutely no proof that the Temple was ever there since every single rock was thrown down and it was utterly destroyed.

BTW, All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews. And what the hell does this have to do with the Holocaust and Exodus?

Not every rock. There are foundation corner stones that were so huge that neither the Romans nor the Babylonians could budge them, and they are easy to find in the vast labyrinth of tunnels underneath the Temple Mount, along with mosaics with Jewish themes. These are all artifacts that are still intact, and there are daily guided tours of them in the Old City, along with the “burnt house,” a museum of the home of a Cohen who perished in one of the conflagrations caused by wars with Rome.

“And what the hell does this have to do with the Holocaust and Exodus?”

It has become fashionable for “many” as you call them, to deny these key historical events of Jewish history, and now some damned history channel special is doing the same with Solomon and Herod’s Temple, echoing recent Islamic deniers who apparently never read the Koran.

I recall one Holocaust denier by the name of David McCalden (died of AIDS years ago), who also denied the story of Purim and the use of Auto da Fe in Spain by the Inquisition.

Finally, it’s utterly stupid to claim on the one hand that “every single rock was thrown down and it was utterly destroyed,” and on the other hand that the Temple Mount is really a Roman fort. The Romans won the Judaean wars, not the other way around. And they left one wall of the Temple standing, to rub it in the Judaeans’ faces that they lost. That wall is still standing. I’ve prayed at it, as have Jews throughout the ages, and along side it are newly unearthed tunnels, mikvaot (ritual baths), as well as the aforementioned vast subterranean labyrinth, mosaics, and gigantic corner stones.

But of course, what is all that next to a TV special.

The Temple Mount and all of the land from the Euphrates to the river in Egypt belongs to Yisrael, the seed of Abraham!

At this time there is no temple to be built, and it is Yehova’s job to clear the land, not men.

That is an utterly false statement.

There is massive evidence, both on the mount, and beneath it, that the mount is the site if the temple.

Just go to you tube and do a search, and you will find hundreds of hours of video loaded with proof.

That wall is not the Temple wall.

The Temple was in the city of David. BTW, nobody even knew where the City of David was until recently.

Besides that, there was absolutely NO living/moving water on the traditional Temple Mount.

But then again, like Jesus Christ said, traditions...

There is absolutely NO evidence of such if you care to re-read your scriptures and the eye witness of the destruction of Herods Temple.

You calling Christ a liar?

You’re being foolish.

Refusing to look at the abundant evidence shows your lack of faith in your own ignorant statement.

Yeshua simply said that the temple would be demolished. He didn’t say that there wouldn’t be strong evidence of its position and dimensions.

Every geographic feature that is mentioned in the gospels is there today for all to see.

The old city of David has been excavated, and seal rings with the names of key Biblical players have been found therein.

The Ark of the Covenant has been found under Golgotha, exactly where it had to be to receive Yeshua’s blood on the mercy seat. The elevator that dropped the Ark to be hidden is visible in plain sight near the Dome of the Rock.

Sorry to upset your silly theory.

When Mark Twain visited Palestine in 1867 he was surprised to find the holy city of Jerusalem dirty, impoverished and neglected:

A FAST walker could go outside the walls of Jerusalem and walk entirely around the city in an hour. I do not know how else to make one understand how small it is…..
The population of Jerusalem is composed of Moslems, Jews, Greeks, Latins, Armenians, Syrians, Copts, Abyssinians, Greek Catholics, and a handful of Protestants. One hundred of the latter sect are all that dwell now in this birthplace of christianity. The nice shades of nationality comprised in the above list, and the languages spoken by them, are altogether too numerous to mention. It seems to me that all the races and colors and tongues of the earth must be represented among the fourteen thousand souls that dwell in Jerusalem. Rags, wretchedness, poverty and dirt, those signs and symbols that indicate the presence of Moslem rule more surely than the crescent-flag itself, abound. Lepers, cripples, the blind, and the idiotic, assail you on every hand, and they know but one word of but one language apparently — the eternal “bucksheesh.” To see the numbers of maimed, malformed and diseased humanity that throng the holy places and obstruct the gates, one might suppose that the ancient days had come again, and that the angel of the was expected to descend at any moment to stir the waters of Bethesda. Jerusalem is mournful, and dreary, and lifeless. I would not desire to live here.
