CALLER: Hey, Rush. Before I make my main point, I want to thank you for teaching me that the Democrat Party is a branch of the media. That and a little bit of bourbon at night and it keeps my elderly brain relatively young. So I thank you for that.
RUSH: I appreciate your saying so, sir. Thank you very much for that.
CALLER: Yes. My point is this young Donald Trump Jr.? By the way, he and his sisters? They’re good-looking, folks. The liberals don’t like good-looking, folks, in general. But my point is this: That young man —
RUSH: Now, wait! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You just can’t say something like that and just keep going. You just said, “They’re good-looking people and the Democrats don’t like that.”
CALLER: I don’t believe they do. I believe you’ve made the point before about alpha males and how women are attracted to them, and we all know that women with men are more likely to be conservative than a pack of women by themselves.
RUSH: I think what you are remembering is my Undeniable Truth of Life Number 24, which essentially says what you’ve just said. I actually think… The reason I whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa’d you is ’cause I think you have a point. I think there is an element of truth in that. I genuinely, truly do. But I’ll expand on that later if interested. Continue to make your point, please.
CALLER: So I believe this young Donald Trump, he’s out searching for facts. He dug deep, and didn’t come up with any facts. But, at that point in time, he’s basically a New York Times reporter. He’s looking for information. Now, he would fail the test of a New York Times reporter because he didn’t go ahead and report that maybe Hillary has something to do with illegal activity in Russia. But he basically is being a reporter, and I don’t remember that being a crime lately, although I think they do commit crimes from time to time. That’s my point.
RUSH: So let me see if I understand. You’re saying that Donald Trump being interested in information to perhaps a Russian government that would be harmful to Hillary is totally understandable?
CALLER: That’s exactly what they’re trying to do to him is find… Whoever comes up with that piece of information on him will be considered a patriot in their eyes. So if Donald Trump could find something horrible about Hillary trying to damage our country, I would consider him a patriot if it could be revealed, because that would be an important thing to be done, and that’s what they’re trying to do to Mr. Trump.
RUSH: Okay, you’re obviously a Trump supporter, and this doesn’t faze you. You’re not worried or concerned about this?
CALLER: No, Rush. I’ve been to two Donald Trump rallies, and I can tell you what. I’ve never seen anything like that, and I am unfazed, and I’m humored, and I enjoy it. I wish we could have another election soon, because I’d love to watch that man debate, I love his rallies, and I love election results when he’s involved.
RUSH: Well, I appreciate the call, Edmond, very much. Thank you. I appreciate that. I’m not gonna do it now, but, you know, when I whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa him on his statement that the Trump children look good and liberals don’t like that, do not just cast that aside. There is an element of truth in that, and it manifests in resentment and it is part of the mix. It’s not a big part but it’s part of mix that explains the hatred that the left harbors for people. In their view, those people have an unfair advantage. “They didn’t do anything to accomplish it. It’s just genetic!
They were born that way, and therefore they don’t deserve any special consideration for being attractive. It’s not fair when most people aren’t.” It’s never stated. They will never state it, but do not doubt me. It’s part of their thought process. I mean, after all, these people are totally immersed in identity politics, and it doesn’t just mean racial or gender, sexual orientation. There’s all kinds of things that contribute to an identity, and there are certain identities the left loves and certain that they hate. One of the things that they despise is what everybody else defines as “normal,” and that’s what they are out to overthrow. They want to overthrow the current definitions of normal and normalcy, which they don’t think includes many of them.

RUSH: One thing on Donald Trump Jr. we had the caller say that Trump kids are good-looking and leftists don’t like that — and that’s certainly true. But you note the energy with which the media is going after Donald Trump Jr. And there’s a reason. They want to dirty him up. They want to destroy the guy before he gets started on his own political career. He has an obvious interest in politics. I don’t know if you’ve heard this guy speak.
Folks, he is what his dad isn’t in that he is an ideological conservative — and if you’ve heard him speak, he’s got it down. He knows his stuff — and he can sell it and he can be persuasive with it — and he is the exact kind of conservative they want to destroy before he gets started, especially given that they don’t have a bench of their own. That is an added reason for all this energy in destroying Donald Trump Jr. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Yup. Dad is a populist nationalist, Don Jr. is a conservative and Ivanka is a liberal.

Don Jr. isn’t JUST a conservative. He’s freaking FReeper Tier. His posts on gun forums online are pretty much identical to what you’ll see on these forums. Wouldn’t even be surprised if he had an account here too.

I doubt there is any real difference among the three. It’s just what people project on to them. Both the supporters and the opponents.
Oh, please. He may have cagier than others, but he continually pointed Trump wasn't a conservative. He was roundly bashed by Trump supporters at FR. I don't listen to him, but this year, he has pretty much abandoned everything he has espoused for his whole career, except for media criticism.
