I burned half the wood last year that I normally do
My observation is we get 2 warm-ish winters and then a *normal* one.
But I remember years when the zero and below temps arrived in November and clamped down the entire winter. Events like 19 straight days below zero in November and -35 in December and January.
Hope not to experience that this coming year.
Same here in the Blue Ridge. I’m laying on the wood this year just in case.
