Thank you for your reminder of Bob Dole attending the convention. I value such positive comments. It’s nice to see civility in a discussion.
I remember that. It took courage to do what he did.
Even with that, though, Mr. Dole is getting a very chilly reception on this site. I don’t know his entire political history, so I may have missed a lot of RINO type moves.
I do recall his wife Elizabeth, how quickly she flamed out of her last campaign.
Yes, he is on the right side for all this. The scumbags who tried to defeat Trump literally would have destroyed this country.
He also attended the inauguration, in wheelchair at the back by the doors. Trump paused to shake his hand, iirc. One of the ex-POTUS, I think, totally ignored him when they departed the area. Or maybe it was just Hillary...
