I lump this idea and Student Loan Forgiveness into the same category:

Bad ideas which are inevitable.

I see absolutely nothing that is going to stop more than half the electorate from supporting them, unfortunately.

Better then that our side adopt them than have them lead to the election of a Leftist Democrat Moonbat.

Why is it "better" if the Republicans are just going to implement the same programs as the leftist democrat moonbats? How are we any better off than if the moonbats get elected?

For something like this to turn into a popular private trend is one thing. Mandating from government is at best a very distant second, very easily abusable. And yet something may have to let some air into a workaday mania that might even be counterproductive.
