What’s Bigger Than The Trump-Putin Meet? This Is

Media will focus overwhelming attention today on the G-20 economic summit in Germany for the initial encounter between President Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin. We previously explored here what’s at stake in that encounter.

But from a lasting economic standpoint, folks, what happened Thursday in Poland and tomorrow in Britain could be much more important.

In Warsaw, as Ed Morrissey points out, Trump offered leaders from Poland and numerous other European countries long-term LNG deals to diversify their supplies and avoid creating undesirable political leverage with a certain large country to the East that has not hesitated to cut off natural gas supplies for political reasons.

Trump didn’t mention that nation. He didn’t have to. It contains six letters beginning with R and ending with a.

“America stands ready,” Trump declared at a news conference, “to help Poland and other European nations diversify their energy supplies, so that you can never be held hostage to a single supplier.”

In previous years, Russia has turned off natural gas exports to certain countries whose policies displeased Putin. This approach of Trump’s is another part of his tougher talk on trade, which seems to be working, as we wrote here.

Liquefied natural gas exports are a key part of this president’s energy program and trade policy, which he intends to use to help balance trade deficits and exert favorable leverage on trading partners, China, for instance, where the U.S. buys $300 billion more per year than it sells.

The United States has had an insatiable appetite for energy imports over the years. But thanks to the technical developments of fracking that tap into previously unreachable sources, the U.S. now has an immense abundance of natural gas.

By an amazing coincidence, the first massive load of U.S. LNG is due to dock in Britain Saturday. Another landed in Poland last month. Lithuania expects one soon, all among some two dozen new nation customers around the globe.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The MSM will only focus on the negative...

It’s all from the first LNG conversion facility in Sabine Pass, Louisiana, an $11 billion plant. Five more such plants are under construction and four others fully permitted. Each facility produces both construction and permanent jobs and, according to one analysis, some $20 billion per year in value-added economic activity. If memory serves, more new jobs fit with Trump’s economic plans too.~~~~~~~~Winning?

Russia DID try to influence the election but they did so to help HILLARY get elected, not Trump.

The people whom you have evidence of illegality on are the ones that you TRY to get elected. For example, China-Clinton. The Trump-Russian narrative doesn’t support this.

None of the deleted or damaging Hillary emails besides DNC or Podesta ones have surfaced suggesting people that have them like the FBI or enemies want to leverage them.

Didn’t she delete over 30,000 of them? I am going out on a limb her but I think Russia HAS these deleted emails. If they were trying to damage her, why didn’t they leak them? Russia like almost everyone else expected Hillary to win which would put them in the catbird seat.

But think of other Russian interests.

They would like us to remove tactical nukes from Europe.

They would like us to let the military deteriorate.

They would like us to NOT develop our energy resources. A drop in oil price would have a massive impact on Russia economically.

They would not want us to build up our military intelligence.

They would not want us to develop our military technology.

They would not want us to be secure from terrorist attacks.

On each and every one of these issues, the candidate the Russians would NOT want to get elected would be Donald Trump.

I think most people who believe this story was falsified by a politicized intel community instinctively know this, but I think it is worthwhile to state it unequivocally.

I don’t understand why the media is focusing on the Putin meeting when the meeting with Chinese Leader Xi is more important because of North Korea.

Any number of things come to mind however, having a shadow, not elected ex-president hanging around making pronouncements to discredit the present POTUS is truly troubling.

"I don’t understand why the media is focusing on the Putin meeting when the meeting with Chinese Leader Xi is more important because of North Korea."

First, understand that Islamists/ISIS are the global cabal's foot soldiers aimed at destroying Caucasian Christian Culture.

Secondly, that the U.S. news media are the mouth piece for the global cabal.

Third, who are the two most powerful nations on Earth who KILL TERRORISTS and DEFEND CHRISTIANS wherever possible? RUSSIA AND THE U.S.!!!!

So the 24/7 focus on Trump and Putin as the evil duo is an effort by the global cabal to diminish these two's efforts at preserving Caucasian Christian Culture worldwide.

In some regards, from a religious perspective it's Trump & Putin against the world.

$11 billion for a LNG plant sounds a bit high. Unless that’s the price on all projected LNG plants and port facilities. After all it’s only storage tanks, separators, compression units, piping, docks, political graft and union/organized crime payoffs.

They are that expensive. The Tanks themselves are 2”+ armor plate, are +/-240’ in diameter and +/-75’ to 100’ high, with a concrete blast wall around them and insulation in between, and are lined.

They buy weld rod by the ton for each tank and a normal installation has five tanks. All welds are 100% x-rayed (the welds have to be almost flawless). It takes 18 months to 2 years to build one plus fabrication time.
