How is it that "progressives" in public education always present their arguments in a manner which falsely attributes their own arrogance and self-interest to the object of their criticism?

One thing they never fail to be truthful about, however, is that their objective is power--not improvement of the learning performance of children, not educating children for citizenship in a free society, not expanding liberty and choice for parents and children--just power for unions!
