Maybe they’re having a hard time finding a judge who will issue a warrant. Congressional subpoena? Meh.

The are talking about a server for the Democrat National Committee (DNC) which is a private, not government entity. The emails are not government property and the authorities have no basis to compel the DNC to allow access.
