The major population centers in the USA, like NYC, LA, SF, etc, would be hardest hit.
If there's no electricity, there's no way to treat waste water and pump clean water. And then there's the JIT supply model for food in these cities. There's probably just 2 to 4 days worth of food on the shelves. And if there's no electricity, then perishable foods go bad, and there's no gasoline or diesel fuel to ship food and other supplies into the city.
It could get really ugly in the population centers very quickly.
