The video was a legitimate a news story and there would be little if any problem with CNN investigating in order to determine the identity of the person(s) involved.

I don’t think doxing is legal - exposing an anonymous internet poster so they’ll suffer financial and potential physical consequences.

If, say, someone hacked FR and all the identities of the users here and their nicknames were made public, you’d be okay with that? If a news organization such as CNN were behind the exposing? Seems legit to you since we’ve made news here many times?

Breitbart has a different take on CNN’s behavior. They call it blackmail. And this article reveals a hornet’s nest of angry reaction. It shows tweets from Stephen Miller, Jullian Assange, and Philip DeFranco. Tomorrow morning will show the aftermath more clearly. Here is the Breitbart story:
