Haven’t we already heard, for hours, that the rest of the world begs to differ?

The U.S. and world will sit back and do nothing.

Just like always.

Oh someone will issue a strong declaration of disapproval.

But no action will be taken.

It seems incredible they pursue this course, when there certainly is a chance Trump will intervene militarily. Probably emboldened by the liberal SK president, but still.

Nobody is going to overtly intervene militarily.

40 minutes, 600 miles? This does not compute. I thought Soviet ICBMs could reach anywhere in the U.S. within 25 minutes?

I think this missile went (very) high.

The only reason it did not attain orbit, was probably that it was going almost straight up. It had no sideways velocity at all, almost. So eventually it came down again.

2800 vertical km. (post 7, above)

That is up there.

President Trump, frustrated by China’s unwillingness to lean on North Korea, has told the Chinese leader that

>>>>the United States is prepared to act on its own<<<<

in pressuring the nuclear-armed government in Pyongyang, according to senior administration officials.
